Was flying 37 hours including transit time from Grand Rapids to Penang alone.
That was the first time I flew alone and yes, for 37 hours.
SHIT FEELING INDEED
Although I met good people during the flight but I hate being alone at HK airport for 8 hours.
The worst part was I don't have any adapter to charge my MacPro, so I was stuck there for 8 hours without my laptop!! Uuuggghhh!
Peoples were being impolite, no one will let you enter the lift first even if you have trolley, on one will let you enter the lift first even if you are the first one who queue up for the lift.

AND

there was a C*****E couple kept telling me that I have a FAKE MacPro!
HELLO!!! What is your problem????

I cried when I saw my mum and dad standing right outside the EXIT door.
I was just one-step away from nervous breakdown.... =.=

*What to do when you bought shoes that are abit smaller than your true size? Wear socks! Wear it with socks at home will make it slightly bigger.. =)*

Sorry for neglecting my blog for quite a while..

I was finally back to work after a lazy-doing-nothing-growing-mushroom-drinkwater-pee-nonstop week at home. I was told that the only treatment for my sickness is to drink as much water as I can, rest more and a little time.

Another update is thanks to this stupid sickness, I got a bill that costs me 1000usd because of 4 hours of Emergency room, bunch of tests, 2 bags of sodium chloride and no insurance coverage. But gladly, I'm able to walk and to eat whatever I want now.

Shitty life is when you have to spend extra money and without earning a single penny.

Been awfully suffered in severe abdominal pain, back pain, muscle pain, here pain, there pain, pain pain PAIN!!!! *yea, even my 屁股 also very pain* Nausea!! Diarrhea!!

I have no idea what was happening at that time. I thought I will be recover in maybe 1 or 2 days, but turn out I suffered for 1 week. I can't stand that kind of torture anymore, so I have no choice but to ask CK bring me to the hospital without any insurance on hand. SHIT!

Anyway, I went to Bronson and had my blood drawn by a very professional nurse. Her name is Tracy and she is just so great! She is pretty and very pro too because for the first time I don't feel anything! NOTHING AT ALL!!

And also, for the first time I'm on a drip! 2 packs of 0.9% sodium chloride saved my life.

According to the doctor, I have viral syndrome or commonly known as "cold". I was like COLD?!?!?!?! Anyway, he said it's not a big deal, it looks like this bug is being active recently since a lot of people has the same symptoms as me. So okay then, means I am quite normal.

So, it's been 2 weeks now. I'm slowly recovering! The doctor didn't give me any antibiotics or medicine. My only "medicine" is fluid. Gallon and Gallons of water. And guess what I had for breakfast, lunch and dinner for the past 4 days.

- Apple sauce
- Yogurt
- Bread
- Bread
- and more BREAD!

The group was having TomYam the other day and I was munching on bread..
How cruel they can be?!?!?!

What hurt me the most is, CK and Guang kept telling me how big the prawn is........

It was International Festival on Sunday.

I am glad that my body was feeling not bad on the day as I had promised that I will go help out at the food selling booth.

I don't have any traditional costumes or MASA t-shirt, so I have no choice but to wear my own clothes. But who knows!! Bobo borrowed a Baju Kurung for me from Belquizrin! So for the first time, I have myself a picture with Baju Kurung. At first, I didn't know how to wear it, like which part is the front and which is the back, turns out I got it wrongly.... =.=" so went to change again.. ahhaha...

Mummy: " I got shocked when I first see you in the Baju Kurung. It's tooo.. "Flower"..
but then.. it looks nice on you!"

Bobo: " I can easily spot you in the hall because you're really very "Flower-ish".. hahaha!"

Good then! Means that whenever I got lost, someone will find me.. =)

Other than suffering by frequent stomach upset, still having fun some------times.. =)

Joyce visited the town with her friend, Surine on Thursday.
They were actually on their road trip for Spring break...
ahhhhhh~ wondering when will be my road trip after the long long New York+Boston+Washington road trip we had during 2008 X'mas New Year Eve.

Anyway, I had class on Thursday until 8pm so I couldn't join Mini golf over the afternoon.
So, instead of that, we had dinner at KUMO!
It was sushi special night where each sushi only cost $1.
It's not super cheap though but still I ordered 15 sushi myself.. hehehhehe....

Wondering what I did over the weekend?

I went clubbing at Chicago but oh well, I think I'm not really the clubbing kind of girl.
I felt nothing but boring.... aiks..
Fortunately, I have all the friends around me that kept me awake.. hehe..
I guess I was not in the prefect condition that day.. My body just don't feel right.. T.T

So anyway, we went to Penang for dinner before we check in our hotel.
For the first time, we brought out Hongkie friends over and had them tried on our Proudly Malaysian food.. =) glad that they love it too!
Penang foods are always the best! Hok Kien Cha and Hok Kien Mee are always the MUST! and guess what! We had 烤魔鬼鱼 too! Paise aa.. no picture for that.. lol

Last but not least, BUFFET in FourWinds Casino!
Stupid Supervisor didn't let LungShing to go in because he didn't got his State ID or Passport. But hello? He was here twice using his HK ID and the security guy let him in Okay.. So what? You're now telling me that those two securities and you have different definition on ID?

Anyway, LungShing, Nick, Jones and Guang decided to drive back to Kzoo and grab his passport. Meanwhile, the guys went for gambling..
and for ME?
TOO BAD! I was seriously in Pain and feeling super uncomfortable all over my body.. Girls problem.. aiks! which means that I don't get to fully enjoy the heaven of FOODS... T.T
I only had one snowcrabs, few oysters and some desserts....
because of all these 生冷 stuff, I ended up vomiting.. ==" WASTED LA!!

So, I came back from School at 1pm, waited for him until 2pm,
then headed to Culver's for some nice chiiickeens.
Btw, they made some mistakes on our orders,
so we ended up having 2 thighs, 2 legs and 1 breast instead of 3 thighs and 1 leg.
=) Love Culver's!

Same thing, went to School early in the morning and trying to finish my work as soon as possible.
We had checkers for lunch and yes, KangXi again.

My final undergraduate semester in Western Michigan University had started since yesterday. Woah.... it seems just yesterday since I came to US but in fact I've been here for over one and a half year! Oh My!!

I have lots of things to do this semester and although I'm taking only one lecture and one lab, but it will still be a busy semester. So, wish me good luck then! =)

*Marley came visit us yesterday! so cute so cute! he seems gained a bit weight though and that is a great news!

Went to LungShing's place to have dinner yesterday and we had our homemade strawberry banana yogurt smoothie!!

Love it so much, it tastes superb!! SPLENDID~~ haha..

Not to forget, we watched two OLD movies.

Damn funny lor his movie, we can't stop laughing all the night! oh man~

Final Destination or Happy Tree Friends?

The plan wasn't change. We still get to watch Final Destination 3D last night. Well, to be honest, I was kind of scare before watching it. Firstly, I still remember how I felt disgust when we girls watched the previous Final Destination in Sunway Pyramid and secondly, it's quite expensive to watch 3D.

Anyway, we still decided to watch it last night. Maybe because it will be more scary if I decided not to watch.. LOL! Just kidding la Jeong... ^^

However, before we went for Rave, LungShing came over and helped me to re-format my ASUS babe (THANKS YA!!). Then, he suddenly asked us to watch some clips of Happy Tree Friends. Sounds so cute right? BUT! NOT AT ALL!! I was horrified by the super disgusting bloody cruel yet with cute voice of those little baby cartoons. =.= seriously laaaa.... VERY CRUEL ler..... is it a warm up before Final Destination?

What surprised me the most, CK seems to enjoy that cartoon a lot.. =.="

However, he refused to watch Final Destination with us, so what happened next was me, Jeong and LungShing went for Final Destination whereas CK went for Julie & Julia.

Hmm... In my opinion, I don't really like this Final Destination, not as nice as the previous one which was very disappointed to waste that ticket money. BUT!!! kekekke.... we sneaked into Julie & Julia to meet up with CK and we watched that movie till the end. YAY~

After the movieS, we went to Ling's new place and chat for awhile till 2am. =) Gonna miss you girl but never mind la! We will meet up a lot even you're not staying with us. And not to forget, gossips!! *ngek ngek ngek* and those DAMN cold jokes.. hehehe...

I was walking in the campus this morning and attracted by the "DONG DONG DONG" sounds. Percussion of WMU marching band was practicing out there under the Sun yet with cold Wind. Uuhh... Hate the wind so much, so chilly that I kept my hands in my pockets while walking along the streets to Wood Hall.

It's been a while since the last time I get to enjoy the super "DONG DONG DONG" sounds from Percussion.

It reminds me all the excitement I had during my secondary school.

The first time I "masuk baris" - wah... sounds super 俗！

The first time I get to know someone in the group.

The first time I officially joined in the MARCHING band.

The first time I participated in the training camp.

The first time I took bath in the dirty toilet of JS.

The first time I slept with friends on the floor of classroom.

The first time I ate maggie mee cup with friends during late night in the so-called dressing room we made ourselves.

The first time we got No.1 in State competition.

The first time we went to National competition and sang before the actual competition.

Yes! loads and loads of memories keep popping out from my mind.

How we marched under the sun and rain.

How we sang those songs in the bus.

How we sweat and how we cry.

So, I had a dream. A BAD DREAM. A dream that freaks me out so much. I mean it.

The dream is about death and what makes it more scary is the part where the death occur on someone I love and care so much -

I get to dissect a sheep brain yesterday after the Anatomy lab exam
BUT
it was NOT a good time for me to do such thing k?
my brain was full with those anatomy terms that going to explode and flow out.... =.="

however, the dissection part was quite interesting when Mike actually dissect it without a surgery blade.... which caused...... the brain to fall apart....... lolz...
so, since the brain was useless.... I decided to simply cut it with a surgery blade this time..

There are 2 types of apple, one is yellow delicious and another one is *errrrr.. i dono le* RED APPLE

I personally like yellow delicious because it is way TOO delicious than the RED apple... hehehe..

So, after fooling around, take pictures, throw apples, eat those apples like a hungry baby and extremely satisfied with the HUGE bag of apples carried with my arms, we went into the apple barn for apple cider and homemade donuts!!!

finished my cell biology exam 2
BUT
it's not the end yet......

I have one chemistry report due tomorrow,
2 ADA quizzes due on Wednesday,
1 ADA midterm due on Wednesday and
2 *damn it* ANATOMY EXAM (LAB + LECTURER) on next Monday

school life huh???

Just got back my Chemistry exam 2, not a good result at all...
sometimes, the feeling of disappointment rises up when you have faith on something you thought YOU DID REALLY WELL but it ended up with just an illusion.

I shall kick away my bad feeling towards the result and quickly finish up my lab report...

Nope for me. At least not for my previous exam. I did try but I won't say it's ALL my best. I've been telling myself 'I promised I'll try harder next time' since kindergarten perhaps, but I don't think I actually fulfilled my own promiseS.

I still remember there was a time when me, ck and Guang were studying for our calculus test. I used to ask ck, 'why you seems so calm and relax while I look so stupid here?'

he told me that, 'you have no idea how much time I gave to Calculus during my secondary school, if you want to get a good grade, stop complaining and work for it! Earn it yourself!'

yea yea yea.... I did cried for several times during our free+private calculus tuition time.
and thank you so much for pampering me EVERYTIME I cried. I look really stupid that time huh? >.<

I'm getting older now and I'm now an undergraduate student in WMU, I don't see any improvement on myself though. Maybe it's time for me to stop blaming on everything and try settle down. It's not easy, give me some time and I'll work it myself. Just give me some time.

After my 1 week holiday... my second semester in US had finally started..
Registered for 2 subjects and fortunately, me and Jeong have another friend to accompany us.. ^^

I ordered my Philosophy book from ebay for about 50 bucks BUT after like about 2 minutes, I found that one of my friend has that book and she is offering that book for 10 bucks..

As I mentioned above, last week was my holiday week after my 1st semester..
GREAT holiday I'll have to say.. ^^
I went for holiday in a huge group!!

we went to south heaven (beach!!!) although we did not spend loads of time on beach because the weather was FREAKING cold!!!
Oh!! We had cooking competition first night!!!
hehe.. it was really fun although my group lost...... haiz... and
the group who won the competition get to play 'DEAL OR NO DEAL'.
Cool rite???

Next, we(it's my mum who actually do the driving thingy) drove all the way to Holland-Tulip Farm.. ^^
You have no idea how pretty those tulips are.. kekekekek....

After enjoying being 'Tulip princess' in Holland, we headed to Alcona Park for somewhat 'camping' feel............
why I say camping? because!!!! we have only one cabin with electricity, the other two don't even have HEATER...
SHIT right?? I was in the electricity cabin with heater so I slept really well in those days BUT not for others... Torture by the stupid weather.. @.@

CHICAGO TRIP

So, here are some of the pictures update for my 3 days 2 nights Chicago Trip..

It was a adventurous trip where we have no senior with us, which means we went to Chicago all by ourselves.. Cool huh?

Sir Ling was the one who drive us there since she is the only one with international license+enough driving experience.. lolz...

Actually, we din plan to go there all by ourselves since we were suppose to go with BoBo.. Unfortunately, her cousin was sick on that day so they have to cancel their trip and ended.... we...... alone.. haha... Luckily they lent us their GPS aka Becky if I din spell it wrongly.. ^^

So, with Becky helps, we went to::
Michigan City for CLOTHES,
China Town for FOOD,
Woodfield for JAPANESE FOOD,
CHICAGO for SPRING BREAK!!!!!

I bought some summer clothes at Michigan City, too bad we don't have enough time for me to SHOP more.. hahaha... nevermind.. not to worry...
ps: we will go shopping together soon.... rite? my dearest MUMMY.. hohohohoho...

Oh ya, apart of shopping, of course we ate loads of nice food..
DIM SUM!! yea..... you know how much I miss DIM SUM???? Hng~~

not to forget..... CHINESE TEA~~~~~~

we went to China Town twice, once when we were on the way to Chicago, another was when we were on the way back to Kalamazoo..

SO, we bought loads of FOOD, Traditional Herbal Tea, Green beans, Barley..... etc..... ^^

For Chicago, we ate a lot.... kakakakkakaka.......... really.... LOADS~~

First of all, Rainforest Cafe which is a creative restaurant with all the rainforest decoration, including animals!!! but of course... they're not live animals... haha..

Then, Japanese Buffet...... MY FAVORITE!!!

Lastly, Cheesecake Factory! I LOVE PORK CHOP!! that's how I felt after Cheesecake Factory.. hahaha... I can't even describe how tasty it is!!

It's the first time I had all day round with rain in Kalamazoo.
We mostly have either snow or snow+rain.

So, we followed our friend to Detroit that day. It took about 3 hours to reach there..

Well, It's not a GREAT week for me because :::::

1. STUPID Coldsore
I'm sure most of my friend know that the stupid 'PEARL' thingy will appears on my lips about once every few months. Urgh...... hate it and hate it.. I found some information about it on the net.. Peoples often get infected and have outbreaks at Winter and Summer. It means, me SEI lor.... winter for so long!!!!!!!!

T.T another place that we will mostly go once every week for groceries is Meiyer, something like Carrefour.. I love to go Meiyer because I can be CASHIER~~ Meiyer has very high tech counter where you can scan stuff and pay yourself.. ^^ GENG LER!!!!

Second Day

Today was my second day of university life in Kalamazoo. I might have to say that everything went through smoothly. I met lots of nice people.

YES!! VERY NICE PEOPLE!!

Hmm.. they are so helpful especially when I'm lost in that campus which I not yet familiar with. But thanks to them, I can now recognize most of the buildings that I needed to know for this semester, such as ROOD hall, WOOD hall, MOORE hall and EVERETT tower. Those name sounds weird huh?? Well, I do think so..

Snowy day had passed for about 2 days thus I can "see" my campus more clearly than last time when EVERYTHING is white in color. No more snow cushion and what left now is some greeny color for the trees and land.

Thankful, Jeong had successfully enrolled in STAT 2600. All of the class enrollment had settled and what we need to worry now is : not only attending those classes but also UNDERSTAND them. This will be the hardest part for me because honestly, I can't really understand everything that said by the lecturer and they love to use FOOTball game as examples which
I DON'T GET IT AT ALL!!

Most of the lecturers had some trouble in calling my name. 'Yih' is still fine but that 'wen' is abit tricky for them. Most of them pronounce it as 'when' but it is NOT. Name is very important for me and I feel funny when people calling me as 'EeWhen'. =.=

Another problem that I'm facing now is BOOKS!!!
Oh GOD!! Why are those BOOKS so expensive?!?!

You know what will happen if I'm in Malaysia now?

you'll just wasting your money for most of the classes if you buy the text books.

Everything here in US are expensive if you convert to Malaysia Ringgit yet it is CHEAP if parents earn $$ here.

ORIENTATION 2008

3rd January'08 was our orientation day.. Our orientation day had divided into 2 days continuously..
Well, I had finally done almost all those important stuff, such as my ID and bank account, finally I don't have to carry "those" things.. hehe..
~~~~BIG RELIEVE~~~~

First day of Orientation:

This was the day I finished "those" stuff and we had our free lunch pack.. which was - SANDWICHES

By the way, that pack of lunch included some chips which I love so much~~~ ^^

Then, all of us joined the American Family ______ (please help me to fill in the blanks.. >.<> According to the host, this will be the best opportunity for us to understand more in American's culture and also get to know them more..
The only thing I hope for is - gimme a NICE family please~~~~~~

After all those boring presentation, we went to Meijer by FREE bus.. ^^ so nice right?? but we only get to buy some groceries..

2nd day of Orientation:

Had our free breakfast at Bernhard Centre and also met one of our Advisor..
HAIZ.... but the advising part did not went well..
We can't enroll Physics class, can't get into Biology class and some of the classes only enough for me...... grrrrr.....

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!! I want to take BIOLOGY class!!!!!!

We got lost on the way to Everett Hall for Physics enrollment but luckily there was a VERY NICE Americans that willing to help us up!!
OOoooo... THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!

Anyway, after that we had our dinner - 'Soup Buffet' in a Church with the American Family ______ (as above)
We had great time there and we got to know some new friends such as from China, Switzerland and also local..

In some part of the dinner, we spoke most in mandarin yet not MALAYSIA slang of mandarin..
Why???
Because of two twin brothers and a girl, all from China..
THEY ARE GREAT FRIENDS!!!

After the buffet, well actually I'm not full......... SOUP??!?!??!
how to feel full????
but they all taste really good.. ^^

We went to "Kalamazoo 10" for FREE movie.. hehe...
if that movie is not free, it will costs us $4 each..
I watched "National Treasure" since I watched "I am Legend" with Jas and SiewLi before..
still remember that we scared ourselves loads...... =.="

Anyway, I enjoy both 2 days of Orientation and Sorry for the troubles I caused.. ^^

Again.. another post all about in SNOW~~

Okay, we went out for lunch at Campus Kitchen by WALKING..
Just imagine how cold will it be for us to walk in the SNOW..
We almost fall down for few times on the way to the restaurant..

Campus Kitchen : It's basically a restaurant that with loads of Asian food..
but trust me.... It's HUGE yet it's not that good... >.< I prefer my MUM's cooking!!!

JiaJun and SuanLoong came to meet us up in the restaurant and thanks to JiaJun, we were able to have some walk in the campus..
Our campus is REALLY gigantic with loads of buildings!!

But honestly, the journey was crazy.. it is freezing cold and we were walking at outside.. =.="

All The Way To Kalamazoo

Finally I'm able to update my blog....

First of all, I'll talk about my flight to Kalamazoo..
Well, I din keep my promise on 'I'll NEVER cry in the airport'
I cried, yes I cried.. I thought I can control my emotion..
but....... I failed...

I miss my mother, I miss my father, I miss my grandparents, I miss Summer, I miss my friends..
I MISS HAWKER FOOD!!

It's not easy for me to stay at US because of their english slang.. It's not easy to listen and understand it.. hmm.. I should say that they sound like talking while chewing gum..

Actually, my job for that day morning is to.........
bath my little doggie Summer, but I was not able to do so because....
